Al Majdouie Corporate Building
The contract for construction of
a new spacious Al Majdouie Corporate Building
was awarded to M/s. Swayeh Co.Ltd., in a contract signing ceremony
held on December 16, 2003 at the office of Sheikh Ali Ibrahim
Al Majdouie, Chairman of Al Majdouie Group.
The contract was signed by Sheikh Ali on behalf of Al
Majdouie Group and Sheikh Sulaiman Al Swayeh
on behalf of Swayeh Co. Ltd. The construction work is scheduled
to be completed in two years. Swayeh Co. is a well-known company
in the field of construction and has a good reputation in this
region.
The
building, located on the highway to King Fahad International
Airport, will be in three parts; the administrative building,
Hyundai Agency building and main Hyundai Workshop. The administrative
building will be 10 stories high, along with two 5-stories lateral
buildings. The Hyundai Agency building is to accommodate a showroom
and parts division. The Hyundai Workshop will be fully equipped
with modern technology to serve after-sales-service.

Birth Rabigh Petrochemical Logistics LLC |

Al Majdouie Trading Establishment, Saudi Arabia and The Sumitomo
Warehouse Co., Ltd, Japan signed an agreement in Singapore on
14th July, 2007 announcing the partnership for a New Joint Venture
Company in the name of Rabigh Petrochemical Logistics LLC (RPL).
Both companies had signed a letter of intent on 16th April,
2006 to work jointly within the GCC countries for In-plant Operations,
Warehousing, Container Depot Operation, Road Transportation,
Customs Brokerage and Freight Forwarding. Both partners had
conducted extensive study and bided for the projects.
By this partnership, the alliance emerged as a solid force to
reckon with and succeeded in bagging the largest contract of
Rabigh Refining
and Petrochemical Company (PETRORabigh). This project will add
substantial contribution to the national growth as more than
600 employees and around 300 drivers (will be provided by Al
Majdouie Transport) will be employed to offer comprehensive
logistics services for polymer products (approx. 1.6 million
ton a year) produced by PETRORabigh. Contract is for the period
of 10 years. The services will include in-plant products handling
packing operation and procurment of raw materials, warehousing
and container terminal, Freight forwarding and Transportation
up to Saudi Arabian seaports, in Kingdom trucking and outside
trucking, etc. together with possible satellite warehouse operation
in the middle east. The operation is expected to be active in
second half of 2008.
S.I Mustafa, Vice President (Logistics) of Al Majdouie Group
will be the Chief Executive Officer of RPL, Shuichi Iwazawa,
General Manager/Chief Operatioon Officer, Akihito Nagata, Dy.
General Manager and one more Dy. General Manager of Saudi national
will be appointed.

RPL is already on its way executing targeted objectives to successfully
achieve the goals

& Distribution bagged Phase-2 Contract from NADA |

Al
Majdouie Logistics & Distribution (MLD) got tap on
their back from Nada for their tremendous performance
as they have received their consent to increase ten morreefer
trailers and five Side Curtain Trailers to the existing contract.
With this, the total fleet to serve NADA is increased to more
than fifty units.
Within six months of bagging five years of 3PL contract
from Nada, MLD impressed them with excellent performance. In
order to appreciate MLD services, NADA organized a party and
invited top executives from Al Majdouie Abdullah Al Majdouie,
President, S.I.Mustafa, Vice President (L), Abdullah Rizhan
Ash-shehri, Human Resource Director, Ateeq-ur-Rahman, General
Manager (MLD), Syed Burhan, National Operations Manager and
Mahboob-ur-Rahman, National Project Supervisor attended the
event.
All the executives of MLD have been honored with an excellent
trophy by Abdul Mohsin Al Othman, CEO of Al Othman Group and
Dr. Sulaiman A. Al Tuwaijri General Manager also arranged a
tour of thier facilities. The party was concluded with a delicious
lunch. |

| MLD gets additional
contract from Castrol |

Impressed with the
excellent performance of MLD in carrying out its Five Years
of 3PL Contract, Castrol has signed an agreement to increase
five more tankers for its services. The agreement was signed
by Abdullah Al Majdouie, Al Majdouie Group President and Ian
Yarwood,General Manager of Castrol
Abdullah Al Majdouie appreciated the efforts of MLD employees
for their excellent performance and bringing laurel to the group.

| MDR Bagged Two Major
Contracts |

Yansab Contract
Al Majdouie DeRijke Logistics (MDR) has bagged Five (5) years
contract from Yansab, a SABIC affiliate, constructing the largest
new production unit for polymers in Yanbu. MDR will provide
logistics services including customs clearance to Yansab. Yansab
plant, which is expected to start in April, 2008, will produce
1,300,00 tons of
PE and PP. For executing this contract, MDR will have to develop
minimum 100,000 sqm , storage area in Yanbu to serve for Yansabs
overflow product storage. MDR will be recruiting over 250 new
employees to execute this contract.
NatPet Contract
MDR has obtained Three (3) years contract for supplying
logistics services from NatPet, a private company constructing
its first
production unit for polymers in Yanbu. NatPet will produce 400,000
tons of PP. Plant is expected to start function by December,
2007.
In near future, MDR is expecting to provide NatPet transportation
services of product in bulk to domestic customers. MDR will
be
recruiting 66 new employees to execute this contract.
With the above contracts in hand, MDR became the sole
logistics supplier for petrochemicals in Yanbu region.
Bernard Van Den Wouwer, General Manager of MDR stated that MDR
has a solid market share in Jubail area and is working hard
to further expand its share. It will become, by far, the largest
logistics supplier in the Middle East, with an expected handled
volume of Four Million Tons and more than Five Hundred employees
by the end of year 2008.
Strong customer relation and good under one-roof solutions sustainthe
growth of MDR, said Bernard.

Forty talented students selected
from various parts of the Kingdom paid a visit to Al Majdouie
Group to get know-how about the business and processes and also
to meet the President of Al Majdouie Group Abdullah
Al Majdouie being the famous personality in the Eastern Province.
Abdullah Al Majdouie addressed the student in a meeting held
in Al Majdouie Towers Auditorium explaining them how the
group was established by
Shaikh Ali Al Majdouie, Chairman and his tremendous wisdom in
business and human relationship. He also spoke about his journey
from student to General Manager of Transport Division to the
President of the Group. Students asked many queries about his
life, about work, the problems he faced and the growth of Hyundai
and Abdullah Al Majdouie answered each one of them serenely.
Mawhibh Summer Program for Science and Technology and Artificial
Intelligence, sponsored by King Abdul Al
Aziz and his companions institute for the gifted, held at Saudi
Aramco and conducted by National Talents Center, selected students
from various parts of the Kingdom on merit to visit renowned
